Day 26 - Hijacked by Sterling

So happy to have my boy hijacking the blog today -

Had a great day today - let me tell you how it was:
Woke up at 6:50am and had an English muffin with jam getting ready for the day. Made my lunch and walked to the bus stop (yay bus pass!). Got to school and talked to my friends for 10 minutes when the bell rang I went down to gym class, where I had a test on drugs and alcohol (I was not ON drugs - at least not illegal ones - that's what the test was about). Super happy I had a test and didn't have to go outside and run around like a loser.

After that I went to my second period class only to have to write a page and a half long note (not complaining). At the end of class we watched Avatar as it relates to both History and Geography. History because it is like when the Europeans came and colonized the first nations. Geography because of how diverse the ecology is in the different areas in the movie.

After that went down to tech room only to find out the teacher is gone til Thursday. Sad Face. So I went to the complex to have lunch with my friends. At 11:27am we walked back to school to go to third period.

Went back to tech room for third period to meet my supply teacher, then went down to room 138 (computer room) only to do a test on computers from the 90's (yay (sarcastic). After i finished the easiest test ever I played around in Photoshop.

Fourth period finally. When I went down to fourth period I was hoping to do work but instead we had a supply teacher and we watched Back To The Future 2 (Good Movie).

Finally I walked down to the bus stop (yay bus pass!) and came home to be greeted by my awesome mom <3 .="" p="">

Now you know why you have to go into academic. Case closed. Avatar and Back to the Future will not help you get that awesome career that is in your future. Fun though, eh? School was never like that in my day. Thank goodness it's changed from that archaic time. Emma's going into a 3/4 split next year. Only the top grade 2 students will be allowed to enter this combined curriculum course. She loves to be challenged and I'm sure this will be so good for her.

Wonderful afternoon and evening, with the sun shining brightly. Busy week ahead with lunches and dinners. Love it and love seeing friends that have just returned home from their far away holidays.

Glad the boys have their plane tickets and we'll be there to pick them up, promise. Going to try to get there a day or two before so that we can go to Parker and make the transfer on our new share. So happy to be able to take out a membership in this awesome park system. Canadians weren't allowed to buy in just a few years ago. We won't use it much this year as we won't head south until January. Very happy to be lucky enough to start our winter season in Spain. So much family there now so we anticipate much eating and entertainment. Looking very forward to it. Less than 4 weeks and it's "Vegas, baby", as the boys like to call it.

Love to all

Great blog Sterling! Sounds like you had an okay day! Way to start the week off.

Just got home from a walk to Pharmasave - I put on too warm of a jacket and will have to cool off downstairs watching t.v. - which won't take long because it is much cooler downstairs than up.

Line Dancing tomorrow morning and a much needed hair cut in the afternoon. Friends of ours are having a garage sale this Thurs., Fri. and Sat. and we have a few things to contribute so will be taking that over tomorrow night. Hope the weather smartens up for them - they do have a garage to put the "goodies" in but it is cool in there if the sun isn't out. It is also the Relay For Life this Saturday so we are truly hoping for some beautiful weather. Sunday is Picnic in the Park sponsored by the Innovation Credit Union so they will be hoping for nice weather as well.

Hope everyone had a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!
