On the first day of Advent

my true love gave to me....
Game night - kids pick

We - read I - decided it would be more fun to have some activities than just candy. So, tonight we are playing Charades, Blokus and Cranium Jigity. I'm looking forward to it.

Sterling bowled this morning - got a 260 for his three games. I was impressed and he was happy with his score. Registered Craig and Sterling for the Family Twosome tournament on December 29. Funny how it is his MOTHER that spends her Saturdays at the alley but it is his FATHER he wants to bowl with. sniff, sniff.
Ah well, there is no accounting for taste.

Kaed has had a rough morning. He had his Lil Kinz all ready in their backpack to take to bowling and forgot them at the front door. Major trauma. Crying kid. You know how much he likes his Dollys. Followed by a game he wanted to play at the bowling alley that he was, "sooo close" to winning. Another major trauma - almost crying. Let's see, what else? His brother had promised to let him use his PSP during bowling and reneged. I had to get involved and that is never pleasant.

Stopped in at Scholar's Choice this morning and had a none to pleasant encounter with one of the staff. Hate it when that happens. No one is very cheery even though it is the holiday season.

We are putting up our Christmas tree tomorrow and GG is coming to help - read put on one ornament. She has come to our decorating every year so it is nice to continue the tradition.

Well, that's it. Check back tomorrow for day two of the calendar. Just so you don't think I'm being un-cheery, I have also included money and candy on some days.

Hope you have a great Saturday,
talk later,
s

Hope you had a fun time playing games tonight! Sounds like you had a very busy day. I just got home around 9:30 p.m. from our Senior Christmas Banquet at the church after a day in Caronport. They Christmas play was beautiful - called Garret's Gift - it was a musical and the singing was fantastic. We got on the bus this morning at 11:20 a.m. and back on it at 4:50 p.m. We had a turkey supper and shortly after the supper Stan left for the Bronco game. There was a short program after the supper and then we helped clean up and I caught a ride home with Robert and Barb. Stan just got home from the hockey game and Bronco's lost again tonight. Wished they'd get on track.

Tomorrow we're going to church and then we have walleyball planned for 2:00 p.m. and coffee after. Hope you Christmas tree set-up goes well and give a hug to GG from us. Talk to you later.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!
