On the 9th Day of Advent

My true love gave to me....
1 dollllllaaaaaarrrrrr
and a partridge in a pear tree

Today's calendar was supposed to be sleep together but that was such a gong show last week, I fell back on the money thing. Tomorrow is the regularly scheduled money and they will be thrilled as it is $100 each. Just joking. It's the biggest prize of the 24 days - $5.
On to our regularly scheduled programming...

Good afternoon all,
Hope you are having a good Sunday. All is well here. Craig is watching football, the boys are playing outside and I am doing this, then wrapping Sterling's bowling balls. He is going to be so excited and thrilled. We are done with our shopping now and everything is wrapped. Actually, I have a few small things to pick up for Craig. His Christmas will be sparse this year due to his monster tattoo. I have no idea how anyone can sit in a chair and get needles poked into you for four hours. agghhh. He is either stronger or dumber than me.

GG is coming for dinner tonight. We are having quite a spread. Pizza and shrimp. Two of her favorite things. It will be nice to have her here for a few hours and hopefully I'll get a chance to beat her in a round of skipbo.

What a difference a week makes. Many of you know about Sterling's problem getting his novel study done. His teacher (bless her heart) gave him a second chance. Well, let me tell you, he has just kicked it. It is awesome! It looks great, the content is fantastic and he has really put his all into it. I hope he is satisfied with his mark. Maybe we are seeing a turning point in him.

Kaedo was at TKD yesterday and had a blast. He loves the all ages classes and it doing great. 3 stripes in the last 10 days. Craig also got the pattern from the dojang so he can work on his orange belt patterning. He isn't very proficient in this area, so he wants to get working on it.

A big "shout out" to Jessica and Ken on their big move tomorrow. We love you, and know it will go great.

Well, that's it. Hope you have a good rest of the day,

talk later,
s

Hope you had a great weekend. So glad you are doing so well in TKD, Kaedo. You only had two stripes last time I talked with you, congrats on the third one. Nice going, Sterling. It is great that you rocked on your book report. Isn't it so fun when everyone is give you the high five instead of the evil eye? Keep up the good work.

We're sure that GG enjoyed her Pizza and shrimp. Does she still cheat at Skipbo???

What do you mean you have no idea how anyone could sit in a chair and get needles poked into them for four hours. You've had kids, haven't you? Oh Yeah, you weren't in a chair. Stronger or dumber, hmmm, no contest.

Had a visit with grandma today. Jessica, Emma, Dad and I brought lunch and had it there with her. She doesn't like the sandwiches they make. The power chair people gave her a new base for her chair, $800. value, and wished her Merry Xmas. I don't think she quite understood the Xmas spirit in these people. She's waiting for a bill that won't come. There are still some very generous people in the world. We arrived at noon and left at 3.30 but we left home at 9.30 and returned at 6.30. It's a long return trip for the Hat. She was very happy to see us all. Talked to Susie for half an hour on the phone also, it was great. We are all getting together on the 22nd. It will be a ball.

Love to all

Will This be Craig's first tattoo? You know there's no such thing as a "Last Tattoo". Make sure you post photos. Oh yeah, thanks for the mail!
