Happy Halloween

Happy Saturday and Happy Halloween to all! A busy day today for our family. Sterling decided last night at 10pm that he wanted to go trick or treating. So, a NERD was he. He looks great as you can see. I'm so thrilled that he decided to go. Kaedo was too. Kaedo went as a recycle bin and his costume rocks. I worked on it yesterday and the boys made the toque last night.

Nerdly McFly

Football dog!

We recycle!

Today we went to bowling and they had a Halloween costume contest. Guess who won first place? Kaedo!!! It was great. He was thrilled. He won an electronic "Deal or No Deal" game.

We went to see GG this afternoon. 99th birthday. She is so sweet. She was thrilled we came to see her and loved our off-key singing.

Looking forward to hearing how our cutie nieces and nephews did tonight.

First of all - CONGRATULATIONS KAEDEN on winning the prize for the best costume - YOU LOOK GREAT!! What a fantastic idea!

Sterling - where did you look to see what a NERD looks like? Hope it wasn't in your dad's yearbook! We laughed lots when we saw you - too cute!!

What a haul you two made tonight! We only had 9 kids so there's lots of little peanut free chocolate bars left for grampa to keep snacking on for a few days. Sounds like you had a FUN, FUN day - don't eat too many candies or like Jacob says - you have to brush the "sugar bugs" out of your mouth after you eat the candies.

Thanks for calling back tonight Shannon. We'll give you a call tomorrow. BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Thanks for the singing gang. I enjoyed it thouroughly, especially the fact that it came with an encore later that day! Great haul of candy guys and the costumes were awesome. Jacob and Caleb had a good day - however it started to snow in the afternoon and by the time it was trick or treat time it was miserable. We finished by 5:30 to come home and dish out candy. Petrica got frustrated with the especially old kids (17) coming out. One kid said he i a prostitute and need the candy (not a costume but the actual job)!! Oh how wonderful it is to live in PA. I will post more on the blog.
