Weigh In Wednesday

Welcome to week two of Weigh In Wednesday.
For anyone joining in today, this is a weekly post chronicling my much needed weight loss. There was a ton of positive feedback last week when I put out a very personal post about my weight loss struggles and food issues. While I know that many of the posts on this blog are personal, this one was probably the most personal one I have posted here.
So - without further ado, my weight this week is:
245.8
Hurray! I am so thrilled! I worked hard this week but did treat myself to popcorn on Sunday afternoon for our movie afternoon. I didn't have too many troubles this week as I found that knowing I would be posting on the blog kept me more accountable. It worked.
I know from the comments that some people said they would be weighing in this week as well. I am so looking forward to seeing how you've done or seeing where you are starting. I would also love to hear about your goals, as well.

Craig also weighed in this week at 193.0 with a loss of 2lbs. Ya Craig. He only has a bout 5lbs he wants to lose but anything is great. Good for him.

Anyways, keep checking back to see how things are going. I'm going to label this post Weigh In Wednesday so if you want to look back on previous posts at any time they will be easy to find under the Weigh In Wednesday label. If you click on the label at the bottom of the post you will see all the Weigh In Wednesday post in the same place.

Congratulations on your weight loss Shannon. I know it seems like a long way to go but it will happen. My first weigh in is 166.4. I am allowed 20 points a day and I get one point for every 25 minutes of exercise that I do. This is day three so the hunger pangs are still there at night. I don't eat much differently during the day, but supper is a much smaller portion. Thank goodness I'm not a snacker, although I could be this week. You are definitely giving Dad, Jessica and I incentive. Good for you Craig, I wish I would have started this when I only had 5 lbs. to lose. Have a another great week this week Shannon, we're all behind you.

The flu is really going around Medicine Hat. We're hearing a few very tragic stories. About 50% of the people at work feel less than normal but not really sick. Could be psycological but you can never tell. The weather isn't helping too much this week but it's supposed to be nice for the weekend.

Thanks for getting the flowers for grandma. Roseline will be there between 2-4 to take phone calls.

Have a great week.

Love to all

I wish it was only 5lbs to lose. Though it is not necessarily noticeable to everyone else, I think I'll feel my best at around 185. Since I no longer have the time to go to the gym, I need to be alot more careful about what I eat and more importantly, when I eat. Great job Shannon, I'm proud of you!

Congratulations! My weight is 149.8. My goal is 135 but it's a hard one for me. I'll have to be really good. The lack of wine should help. I am going to keep posting my weight weekly to keep me accountable. Also, Daddy wanted me to tell you he is currently 251.6. He's joining mom and I in our weight watchers for the most part. I'm not sure how many points you get but as a nursing mom I get 30 per day. Not exactly hard to stay within that. Having said that, my social life is picking up again and I certainly don't order well at restaurants so that will be my downfall. That and all the friggin halloween candy!

I'm so proud of you. Keep up the good work. Love you.
