The Final Countdown

Yikes, I can't believe it - tomorrow is Sterling's last full day of school. Come next Monday, he will be a 10th grader! Thursday he has half classes and his first exam, followed by exams on Friday and Monday and then he is done!

Kaedo is just coasting now. He will go to school the rest of the week - for him and his friends, it's just the social part - no learning is being done. Tuesday he will have no school as the girls spend all day getting all prettiful. We will be celebrating his BIRTHDAY!!!! Woot Woot!!!! and at 5:30pm, heading to his school to celebrate his Graduation. Once the necessities are done, along with our Mother/Son dance, parents have to get the hell out of the school until 10pm. No parents allowed in the gym!

Wednesday he'll probably sleep in and hang out and on Thursday his grad class will be a part of the "Clap-Out" ceremonies. Once that is all done we will be getting everything packed up and ready to go so there is no rushing on Friday.

We've got a busy 10 days ahead of us!

All the best in the next two weeks to all of you! Busy, busy time for sure.

Nice chatting with you Sterling & Craig - sorry about the jacket. Auntie Barb & Uncle Bob stopped in for abit for us to show them which flowers need to be watered while we're gone and I mentioned how you were wondering about your jacket. She said - I still have Curtis's in the closet and she keeps asking him if he wants it and he says no. I told her she'd better hang on to it just in case Curtis's son Kalem wants it:) We sat out on the deck having our coffee and it was absolutely beautiful out until you walk where the grass is and then the mosquitoes love you. I have 2 big bites on each of my fat arms in just a short time and I saw one flying around me just a few minutes ago so will have to catch him before heading to bed.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

June is always a busy month with school, exams, fun, learning, fun. Hope the trifle turned out well Sterling and that everyone liked it. Did you like it??

Lunch with my friend today and one of Denis's friends is coming for supper. Cabbage rolls, love them.

Lots to do before heading out on Sunday. Looking forward to being 'on the road again'. Nice to be able to take the back roads that we can't take in the winter due to altitude and snow.

Big black clouds here again tonight. Some rain has fallen but not a lot yet and it's very sporadic. I'm sure we'll be inundated before too long. glad we're not BBQing tonight.

Love to all
