We thought it would be fun to take our travelling gnome down south and snag our weekly gnome picture with him. The boys made their best scores at Under Armour - check out the fancy new duds - so it seemed right to get their picture there. This is taken right outside the door. Would have brought my big gnome but didn't want to carry him through the shops.
One of our goals was to get new shoes for Kaedo. Thank god we found some. The others were ripped, torn, worn out and VERY ugly. As you can see from the picture there really wasn't much shoe left. Much to my surprise he put on the new ones in the mall and threw the old ones in the garbage. Maybe that was his New Year resolution - out with the old and in with the new.

Both boys look great - new shoes look great as well. Good for you Kaeden to throw out your old ones - sometimes that seems very hard to do whether it's shoes, clothes, furniture or whatever. I need to take some lessons!
Another beautiful day here today - blue sky, sunshine and +7 I believe. They are predicting + weather for the weekend and +10 for Monday. Saskatchewan doesn't know what has happened to our winter - oh well, we'll take this anytime.
Hockey game this afternoon and YEH for Canada. Stan just headed downstairs after a quick supper to watch the gold medal game. He's not sure who to cheer for but I told him he couldn't cheer for the Russians!

Great looking shoes, Kaedo. I like that, in with the new out with the old. Happens in our house all the time. If you buy something then something has to go, shoes are the exception though. We try to throw out a piece of clothing every time we buy a new one. Don't know why I have nine jackets.

Nice shoes Kaedo. Now mine do not look that bad, but hav a rip andAuntica is not proud of that so I might have to borrow that new years resolution and pick up a new pair. I do not however have the abundant shops to look at but I will try - looking at those Livestrong shoes (preparing for the Mother's Day Run).
