16

This is our kitchen table on any given day. 3 laptops, 3-4 cell phones, a couple of Playbooks and ice cream bowls. We are technically advanced yet somewhat childlike. Did I mention Kaedo's ice cream had chocolate chips and strawberry sauce???

Good thing you have a big dining room table for you all to work at - a family that plays/works together, stays together!

It is terrible, terrible cold here today - I know, we're just spoiled after having such beautiful January weather. It is also snowing again today so maybe Stan will be able to play with his new toy. I talked him into buying a snow blower - just a small one and I'll probably even be able to learn how to "drive" it.

Hockey game again tonight but I sure don't plan on going to it - I'll grab my new magazine and remote and keep warm.

Hope you're having a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Our table only has the next batch of postcards to be mailed on it. I write them up when I have a few minutes, dated for sometime in the future, and try to mail some at least once a week. Your table looks like the centre of the family circle, as it should be.

The Dali museum was super fantastic. I even got emotional over some of his work, it was that incredible. We had head sets, thank goodness, as a lot of his work is so surreal that it's not understandable to the likes of someone like me. I loved his masterpieces though, they were breathtaking. The most fabulous building, gardens and the gift shop had totally artistic and one of a kind items as well as great quality clothing, umbrellas, bags, jigsaws, dishes, and on and on. We spent over four hours there and the main gallery is only one floor. Definitely one of the premium museums that we've been to, ever.

Sucked at Texas Hold'em tonight. Denis is still in there but I'd lost all my money in an hour. I didn't want to wait an hour until the next round started so decided to come home.

We're going to Wauchula tomorrow to visit with a couple we met in Arizona last year. It's about 2-1/2 hours from here but on roads we have never travelled so it should be lots of fun. There are three different routes so it will be rock, paper, scissors to see which of the three we don't take. We had to Mapquest their place as the GPS doesn't recognize anything around there. Another adventure.

The weather is gorgeous, lovely at night for sleeping and mid 20s during the day. Not as humid this week which is great also. Hope your northern weather warms up.

Love to all
