Martin Luther King Day is the 16th and it's an observed holiday here. Maybe he's a black American barber. It's a big holiday here so we won't be doing anything except the beach or stuff like that.

Jessica and the girls flew out at 1.45. It was a pretty sad event with tears all around except for Avery who kept saying "Let's go mom", as she wheeled her carry on through the gate. It was full of food for the journey. Jessica would have loved to see you but the transfer was so quick she didn't even have time to get a bottle of water. She had to get ALL her bags,(three checked bags plus a car seat...carry on was a suitcase for each of the girls, one for Jessica and a purse the size of Texas) go through customs, get the bags back on the conveyor and it was time to board. There was only a 90 minute change which translates to about an hour when you have two little ones. She is now on her way to Calgary. Hope she stays overnight, said she would, but that could change by the time she lands.

The laundry is all done, the floors washed and bathroom spic and span. I'd rather have them here than a clean house. Will have to see what activities there are tomorrow here at the park. There is a soup and salad pot luck which doesn't sound too pleasant so we'll probably skip that. It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow, sure hope so, we're freezing at 17C. Sounds warm at home but it's not down here.

Missing all of you.

Love to all
