Most Dedicated

Last night Kaedo had his rep soccer banquet at the indoor soccer facility. He had a great time and was so thrilled that he won a special award for "Most Dedicated Player". We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished this year and he was thrilled with his award. He was the only kid on his team who never missed a practice or a game, and never complained about what needed to be done. He always showed up with a smile and hard work ethic. It has been a long season, and he is desperately missing playing, but trying out for the school soccer team has helped getting him over the hump before he can try out for next year's team.

Congrats Kaedo - you rock!

Congratulations Kaedo! You truly do rock! The look on your face says it all, you look so happy and proud. You certainly deserved to win this special award for your loyalty to your team by never missing a game or a practice. Shows your strength of character. So glad that you get the opportunity to try out for the school team. Good luck today.

Went biking yesterday for a little while. The trail we had planned was closed until Saturday so we'll keep the bikes on the car and do it then. Went out for dinner with Laura and didn't get home until after 11, made for a long day out but we sure slept well last night.

Love to all

WAY TO GO KAEDEN!!! Hope everything goes well for you for the school soccer team.

We've had a very relaxing afternoon since getting home from hospital around 10:00 a.m. from Stan's surgery. Everything went well and he's been sleeping quite abit this afternoon. Dr. McKerrell says that his left knee doesn't have much cartilage left in it but hopefully this will last for awhile. I've been keeping him topped up with pain killers every 3-4 hours so he says it's not too bad. He's been putting ice packs on them as well every 2-3 hours. Both knees seem to still be bleeding abit but hope it stops by this evening.

I got a call around 1:00 p.m. that Elections Canada had 3 books to type so it worked out perfect for me this afternoon. I just finished the 3rd book so I will return them tonight after supper.

We got all our apples picked off the tree last night with the help of Jim and Roberta. We got around 25-30 Coop bags with between 2 1/2 dozen to 4 dozen in each bag. By the end, I was putting quite a few in each bag. Kept some pretty nice ones for us to eat. I've called quite a few people today to see if they'd like some bags and got rid of some this afternoon.

Hope everyone had a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!
