We had been invited to a party at the home of Craig's boss. That explains the wine. I decorated the bottle and put together a little gift bag for the hosts and off we went. They have a beautiful in ground pool and when we arrived at 4pm the boys jumped into the pool immediately and didn't get out until we forced them to at 8:50pm. They even ate supper at the side of the pool (as per the hosts instructions). We had a wonderful time and it was so nice to get to know Craig`s co-workers.
They were wonderful hosts and took special care for Sterling. I was really impressed. The beer and wine flowed freely and the outside patio was spectacular. We sat out all evening. Needless to say we were very tired when we got home and headed to bed shortly after arriving.
I woke up at 5am only to find that my damn dog had pooped in the hall. Thank god I had the light on or I would have stepped in it. The only thing grosser that cleaning up poop is stepping in it!

Glad the garage sale went so well and that the boys did well also. Happy that you had such fun at the BBQ, the wine decoration looked awesome. Hope you enjoyed the movie as much as we did Craig. So glad you're able to get your bike on Thursday Sterling.
Went to Calgary today to visit mom and buy a new mattress. We've been checking them out for a while and got the one we feel will suit us. Had to be careful that it wasn't too deep as it has to go under the computer desk in the bedroom when the slide is in for travelling. We'll take our old one to the Sally Ann tomorrow as it looks like new but it isn't as comfortable as we'd like.
Laundry, shopping and lunch with a friend tomorrow before heading to Calgary again for some tests on Wednesday. Thursday finds us "on the road again" for 6 weeks enjoying the beauty of the interior part of B.C. We'll enjoy our exploring as we've never been to some of the areas we plan to visit. Hoping to catch some winefest goings on in Kelowna on the way back in October. Have some friends to visit there so it should be a great time.

Will the bike fit in the van when you pick us up!! We'll lay on the top of the van if you like Sterling!! So glad we can help you get it before summers over and we'll get to see you ride it.
Irene - we'll have to get you to help us decide which is the best mattress to buy. We've needed one for quite some time and just haven't got around to checking them out.
We're hoping for great weather while we're visiting but if it isn't, that will be okay as well just as long as we're together.
