We had our final tournament over the weekend in Trenton and the boys did AWESOME!!!!
We made it to the semi-finals - which no one was thinking was possible. After 2 weeks off, the boys took a little time in the first game to get their groove back, but by the second half they were working as a team and playing well. We lost the first game. Second game we were on fire. We won 5-0. The boys were thrilled. Yesterday we headed back to Trenton for another game, and were so sure that they would only play one game, we didn't pack a lunch. Needless to say, they were on FIRE, and won their game 3-o. With only an hour break, the boys hung out and re-grouped then played in the semis. Unfortunately there was no victory but the kids were great sports. We got home about 4pm and mom and I went for a run, dad visited gg, the boys played in the pool and Craig did his thing.
Did I mention that it poured rain yesterday? I should have got some pictures of us huddled under the umbrella - covered with ponchos and tarps. DUH! Next time. The first two pics are from Saturday, last two from yesterday.

Rain, you call that rain!! We thought we'd need an ark. The rain is so nice and warm here though. We sat in our chairs and watched the game and then, of course, it stopped raining as we were heading home. Shannon and I were not three blocks into our run when the skies opened and we were soaked to the skin in less than five seconds. I needed windshield wipers for my glasses. Again, beautiful warm rain.
Cloudless sky today but the boys would rather go to the auto museum than golf, so that's what we'll do.
