Pool Dudes

Boobie Mc floozie

On Sunday after we returned home from the tourney, the boys decided that the perfect place to be in the pouring rain was the pool. Needless to say, they were silly as always. I got a great laugh out of their antics, as did Amma. The pool and trampoline have been such great fun for the boys and have been a wonderful cure for that summer boredom that occurs on occasion.

Didn"t need to go into the pool to get wet the last couple of days. Tuesday, because of the rain, the five of us went to the Bata Shoe Museum, four of us thought it was terrific. We then had lunch in the city and made our way home. The rain put a stop to any though of strolling the markets, it was just coming down to hard

Yesterday, Wednesday, we went golfing and didn't get the first hole finished before the deluge. They gave us a rain check and we went back to Oshawa for lunch and did some bowling. We also picked up a new gnome for Year three. The rain is warm but the drops are huge so it's instant soaked to the skin.

Today, Thursday, the weather looks beautiful so we're going to try our golf game again. Tonight, Denis and I are going out for supper with Peter and Roseline.

We still haven't been able to get to get to Centre Island, either it's been closed due to poor weather or Kaeden has a game or practice so we have to do a shorter day. We've got it marked down for Monday as the CN Tower is on tomorrow's list. Hopefully we'll be able to do the markets also.

Love to all

Sounds like you're all having a blast regardless of the silly rain. We've had some pretty nice weather finally but this morning woke up to a very, very dull day with rain. I think our rain barrel has only been empty a couple of times this spring.

Stan's off to Fort Qu'appelle this morning with a fellow who works for Standard Motors. They're driving up together and then Stan will be driving the second vehicle back home.

We've had Joyce in S.C. for a few days and have had fun times together. She's heading home today so we're meeting for brunch so we can all say our good-byes.

We've also found a place for my mom and although we all know that it has to be this way, we're having a tough time with it. We're moving her to Herbert (1/2 hour east of S.C.) on Monday. We talk to her about it but not sure if it is truly sinking in. It will be a very, very tough day Monday so say a little prayer for all of us as we get through the day. Then on Tuesday, we are cleaning out mom's apartment - the sooner we get it cleaned out and checked, the sooner mom gets reimbursed some of the rent.

Hope the weather holds out for your golf game today.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!
