CN Tower

Yesterday we were lucky enough to go to the CN Tower with mom and dad. Let me just start by saying it was a FANTASTIC day. I loved every minute of it! We arrived about 10:15am and didn't leave Toronto until 3pm. Here are some pictures from the tower. We went right up to the SkyPod - the highest you can go - and then made our way down to the Observation Deck and the glass floor. Kaedo hates heights, so he cried while we were there, but we didn't let it rain on our parade. Sometimes you just have to suck it up. We saw a movie about surfing in Tahiti and went on a log ride simulator. Kaedo enjoyed both of those things. Sterling was soooo excited to go up in the tower, that his enthusiasm was infectious. He sat on the glass floor, picked out planes flying in to the Harbour Airport, picked out cool buildings and just loved every minute of it. Here are just a few of the pictures I snapped. We couldn't have asked for a better day with either the weather or the company. It was awesome!

This is just a snippet of our wonderful day. I will be posting more pictures over the next few days about the rest of our adventure in "the big city".

It was a great day! The sky was clear so we could see forever. Our timing was so great for all the events that we didn't have to wait in any long lineups. 20 minutes was the only time we stood in line and that was for Sky Pod. The boys wanted to walk downtown so they got their wish. We walked to St. Lawrence Market for lunch and looked at all the different foods from camel meat to ostrich burgers and kangaroo steaks. Terrific day and then two hours to drive home in the Friday traffic. Gotta love the big city!

Love to all
