Layouts

While waiting to have my computer set up for my new job, I have had the opportunity to do some scrapbooking. I have not done any in about a year and it felt good to create these two layouts.

The first one if of my Uncle Ray. He passed away a long time ago. I have had this photocopy of the original for a long time and have never used it in a layout. I have been thinking about doing a page for a while. I hope I have done it justice. I am looking toward you, mom, to give me an approximate date/year of the photo so I can complete it.

The second one is of a picture that I have just posted this week. I had to scrap this one. I just love it. This way it will go into a book rather than be shuffled into a pile and be lost again for some time.

I'm hoping to do one layout a week in the upcoming months, both to get rid of some of my stash and to document the absolute coolness of my boys. I will post them here once I have completed them.

The photo is definitely Deux Montagnes and the suit would indicate a special occasion in today's world but back then it was Sunday attire. I'll take my computer to Calgary on Thanksgiving and ask mom if she remembers. Her long term memory is pretty good and she just might know. Cheryl and Susan wouldn't know unless they have a similar photo of him with a date on. I know I have photos that go back that far but they're either in storage or I gave them to one of my sisters when we started our life "wherever we wanted to live it". Great photo of him, I won't say it brings a tear as you always get after me for that....but it does.

Love to see you back at something you not only enjoy but that you're so good at.

Love to all
