Week 4 - this year is already going fast. We went on Saturday to see if our new gnome was in but he hasn't arrived yet, so another picture with our little gnome. The boys are back to school today after a PA day yesterday and I'm back to work in about an hour. Craig is enjoying his new job and is adjusting well to his new environment.
Only 8 days until the fam comes to visit. We are so looking forward to seeing them. We have a lot planned and it is sure to be a whirlwind trip. We are going to enjoy every minute of it.

We are preparing for our arrival. The morning was spent wrapping Xmas presents, that way we don't have to mail them from California. Glad you'll have lots of family with you this year otherwise your Xmas would be quite sparse from this neck of the woods.
Got the car finished with it's service today and Saturday the motorhome goes in so we'll be homeless for a few hours. It's nice to be a little confident that the vehicles will make it there and back but then who knows.
Chula Vista Resort e-mailed that they received our deposit today so thankfully we'll have a very nice place to be at Xmas. That and the fact that's it's close to everything we would want to do in a month is a bonus. The small amount of planning we've done is falling into place so that's good karma. From there, we'll get a better picture of what is really happening on the Mexican roads. We'd still like to do the Baja but travel by road is still not recommended.
The municipal elections yesterday were pretty blah here but Calgary and Lethbridge had very interesting races. Not keen on Lethbridge's mayor but really liked Calgary's. Time will tell if he knows how to govern. They sure need a strong candidate with their huge deficit and huge infrastructure needs.
