Week 45

Boys are back and enjoying the beautiful weather. Sterling spent the day with his friend and Kaedo just hung out and relaxed in front of the TV. Later on they both jumped in the pool and spent the rest of the day there and after a quick bite to eat are back in it. For this weeks Gnome picture, gnomee decided he needed to cool down as well.

WHAT A GREAT PHOTO!!! Boys look so relaxed and lovin' the pool (so does Gnome)! I'm sure they were glad to get together with their friends again. Hope you had a good day together.

We made it to P.A. safe and sound around 3:30 p.m. yesterday and relaxed in the backyard awhile. Got our stuff brought in, supper, bathed boys, Petrica and I went shopping for abit and then came home. We decided to celebrate Kelly & Petrica's anniversary last night with a toast & drink to 5 years. We finished watching a movie - Sylvester Stallone which is dad's kind of movie!

Kelly & Petrica were off bright and early this morning for Elkridge - they had a tee time for 9:00 a.m. Plans are to return tomorrow around noon. It is a beautiful morning out so I'm sure they will have a fun day. We'll be able to play outside with Jacob & Caleb and then later on we're going to Gail's grandson's 4th b'day.

Hope you're having a fun day - love you lots!

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

P.S. - Irene - you thanked Stan & I for teaching Sterling & Kaeden the basics of golfing. Not sure if we taught them the right way but it was fun! I want to THANK YOU for doing the end of the trip with them and getting them on the plane safe and sound!! We aren't the world travellers you are and you handled it like a pro. Hope to see you again before you head down south!

We're missing you two, it's so quiet around here. That it is a great photo with gnomee.

Spent most of the day yesterday cleaning as travelling the highways leaves lots of road dust. Everything is spic and span as we didn't do anything while we were away except sweep the floor every other day. It was pretty gross in here after all that time with sand, popcorn and chips found in unusual places. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Stan and Shirley, they golfed so well and were very calm and mature on the course. They hit their ball and continued on. It was only when they saw all the balls in the water that we needed to encourage them along as they would have parked there until all were retrieved. We were also really happy about having the golf clubs to send back as we needed just that size to tape Sterling's ripstick to. We never thought about it until the morning they were leaving. We cajoled the counter attendent into allowing us to do it and "oversized" security eyed us but we pushed the boys front and centre so I think it's pretty hard to refuse kids. I remember travelling in the seventies to Europe with my parents and when we met up at the airport to come home my mom thought Denis and I looked like real hippies so she insisted I take Susan (4 years old) with us to board. Needless to say, we got stopped and she got searched as in those days kids weren't given the same respect. Den and I just roared and my mom was so choked.

Sterling and Kaeden, we knew you boys would have no problems on the plane as you are very responsible and mature when you know you have to be. Glad the flight went so well. I had to wait at the airport until I confirmed that your plane was in the air not just on the tarmac. When it was confirmed I had tears again. Sorry. We got home only 15 minutes before you did. How's that for the speed of flight??

Thanks again Shannon and Craig, it was awesome.

Love to all
