Malibu Racing

They spent an afternoon at Malibu, racing the miniature Formula Ones. This is right up Sterling's alley. He loves anything to do with racing and race cars and loved doing this. Kaedo was not interested in driving, so he and baba doubled up and raced together. Unfortunately there are no pictures of baba's wipeout. I would have loved to see that. The boys both said it was great. I, too, did this as a kid so it was cool to hear what the boys thought of it.

Again, this brought back memories of you and Jessica racing here. In those days, you got a driver's license with your photo on it and everything but it's not like that now. It's pay your money and ride. Sterling did 15 laps and Kaedo and Baba did 6. I was the photographer. I enjoyed the racing at Scandia much better as you didn't have to stop after every lap to give your ticket. It was way more fun and there were quite a lot of people on the track and I lapped Sterling twice as he had been taken out by another driver. I didn't offer to help him get going as it was a challenge between the two of us and he was in no danger. That was a blast for me, I beat the little hot dogger. A great time was had by all.

Washed the car with my new Enjo mitt today. No soap or chemicals and it sure made the car clean. Maybe I'll get the inside done sometime this week. First wash of the year. If you leave it long enough the rain usually does a decent job but I needed to try this mitt...tried it, won't have to do it again.

Love to all
