Monday

Only two more sleeps until the boys are home. Can't wait. Talked to them both this morning and it was great. They are going kayaking today and then will be heading for Calgary tomorrow as they fly out Wed. afternoon.
Craig and I decided that after a full day of working on our front deck, we would treat ourselves to a couple of movies at the drive-in. It was a triple header but we only got through 2 movies when we packed it in. We got home about 2:45am. By the time I got to sleep it was about 3:20am, so I am dragging a bit today. Craig is outside putting the finishing touches on the railing then I will do some sanding and staining. He is putting the pool up today so it can be filled and ready for the boys come Thursday.
Craig has just called for my help, so I'm outta here.
Have a great holiday Monday

I bet both boys can hardly wait to get home to you both as well!!

That was a very late night for the both of you - don't blame you for not making the third movie - hope you enjoyed the two that you did see.

The deck will look so nice once it's all done. It's so much work but the finished product makes it worthwhile.

Stan & I just got home a few minutes ago. Linda called this morning and wondered if we'd like to meet them for breakfast. Mondays I go over to do mom's breakfast and pills, so I walked over there and Stan picked us up and we met Sam & Linda around 8:45 a.m. We had a good visit and mom thoroughly enjoyed getting out. We did some shopping, filled car with gas and Stan's starting to wash the car. I'm going out in a few minutes to vacuum and wash the inside. It's abit cooler here today but still very nice.

You have a great holiday Monday as well and we'll talk to you on Wednesday when Sterling & Kaeden get home. Love you lots -

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Our last day in Kelowna and the boys are so torn. They want to stay longer but they miss you both. We've had great fun, done something different every day and had very little down time except for a movie every night. Sterling didn't make it past supper tonight, he fell asleep at the picnic table using my "flubber" upper arms as his pillow. He came alive, picked the movie, made his bed (a first)and then was asleep before the movie was in the machine. Being in the pool for 1-1/2 hours tires one out. Kaedo is just dozing off at 9.25 but fighting to stay awake watching Ironman. He and Baba are eating Dill Pickle chips and the popcorn hasn't been put on yet. I think we eat a little later than what they're used to but it's hard to have supper much before 7:30 when they're in the pool until 7.

The weather has been glorious even though the fire haze has not made for great photos. Denis would love to come back here for an extended stay. There is something for everyone. This has got to be the first time I've missed a Casino when there was one close by. We met a couple and they were from Gananoque. They said you've probably never heard of that place and I said that they have a great Casino there and we've stayed in their lot on a couple of occasions. They both roared.

We're leaving here around 8 and hopefully the trip will be fast enough so that gnomee will have his photo taken in Lake Louise. That is the plan but the construction on Highway 1 is never ending from Sunshine to West of Revelstoke. We'd love the boys to see Louise but we lose an hour heading east and we don't want to get to Calgary too late. If it's early we'll head toward the north side of town, if not we'll stay at Calaway Campground. We know it's a travel day but we want to have some fun also.

Our hearts hurt, we'll miss them tons. October seems so far away and never the same as when we have them all to ourselves.

Love to all
