Sounds like you had fun putting it up as well. Pretty soon Sterling won't even need a chair to put the angel up - wow, he looks like he's stretched up so much as well.
We've got lots of snow here and Stan has had to shevel lots. Thanks goodness we didn't get as much as Lethbridge got.
The tree is awesome, it is such a fun family time decorating the tree. The homemade decorations are just the best. They are my favorite. It was great talking with everyone this morning, you boys are toooo funny.
The snow put a bit of a damper on our weekend. We didn't get to Lethbridge on Saturday and we didn't get to Calgary today. Can't believe that this is the third time we've had to cancel plans this winter due to poor driving conditions. We did get a lot of Xmas shopping done downtown Medicine Hat however. They have some very nice one of a kind stores here. The mall sucks but we hate mall shopping anyway. I ordered some things in Calgary and still have to get our gifts for Cheryl & Susan. We pulled their names this year. Shopped for stocking stuffers today. We're just getting stockings for Emma and Avery and no stockings for the adults this year.
Just one more full week of work before I'm done. Mixed feelings, can't wait to get out of this weather but will miss working, guess I'm not truly ready to retire full time.
One thing about having the bad weather now is that it might be nice weather for Christmas when lots of people are travelling. We also hope for two good days for travelling south. Regardless of the weather, we will be heading south on schedule even if we have to drive 20 kph in a white out.
We decorated our tree today. Lots of fun. Good music, nice memories and good treats. The season is upon us.
