Family Two-Some
Yesterday we all had the opportunity to participate in the annual Family Two-Some bowling tournament where the child and parent bowl on a team together. In past years Sterling has always selected me as he said I was the better bowler, not really understanding that they automatically give the parents 225 per game for a three game total of 675. I would have to bowl out of mind and way beyond my skill level to get that high so the winners are really determined on how the kids bowl against their own average. I know Shannon has always wanted to participate and luckily this year with Kaedo bowling as well we were both able to. Sterling had a bit of a rough start but caught his groove and ended up with his best triple ever earning him and I 2nd place in the Junior boys division. Shannon and Kaedo did great as well and got 4th in the Bantam boys division. It was a good time and the first time we have ever won anything doing it, Sterling was thrilled, especially since he beat me in his last game, though I think he was disappointed that I kept cheering him on even as he taunted me with 'How does it feel to have your son kick your butt in bowling'. Strangely enough, it felt good, he needs those kinds of things to happen to get his confidence up. Anyway, here are some pictures from the event.

CONGRATULATIONS CRAIG & STERLING!! Medals look great! Way to go Shannon & Kaeden! Sounds like the whole family did great and had lots of fun and that's the main thing.
Hope you had a good day at work Shannon and get home in time to enjoy your family.
Kelly, Petrica, Jacob & Caleb left around 4:15 this afternoon. Hope their trip home is a safe one. Weather looks good all over but one never knows. We had a wonderful time with the little ones - they are so much fun opening gifts and seem to love everything. In the end though, they would just as soon play with Kelly & Craig's old toys that are still around the house.
Dad's heading to a Bronco game this evening. Hank & Jewel are leaving for the states for a week so I might go over and have a cup of tea with her and get caught up on some visiting.

Was just sitting here at work thinking I should have posted the family two some stuff and dreading that thought of doing that when I got home tonight. Thanks Craig - you rock! (and you're hot - what a package!)

We have arrived in Anaheim and have a wonderful apartment/hotel. It's huge, bigger than most two bedroom apartments. It even has two bathrooms. We had wonderful weather, bare, dry roads. People that left on the 27th and traveled south were not so fortunate. I guess the roads sucked on the 27th and 28th. We had lots of fun in Vegas and now will spend 8 nights here. We will then go back to Vegas for two nights as we left the motor home there. It's not hot here, 20C, just right for Disneyland. We hope it get warmer for Newport Beach. This sure beats the weather further north.
