Last night was build your own sundae night at our house. The boys created delicious concoctions with ice cream - French Vanilla and Chocolate Caramel, chocolate sauce, whip cream, cherries and sprinkles. It was a nice Wednesday night treat. We finished off the evening watching "Canada's Worst Driver". Hilarious. What about you?

Definitely not weight watchers. Looks good though. We are going to decorate gingerbread people tomorrow night. Emma is very excited. Got new sunglasses frames today.
They are putting my own lenses in because I refuse to spend another $600.00 on lenses when I don't need a prescription change. The frames I had were never as comfortable as I wanted and then a great thing happened... they got broken. These are pretty cool, probably good for a teen, at a teen price...cheap..so I'm good to go.
Busy weekend ahead but phone as usual. We'll be on the road but I'll get dad to drive there, that way we can chat.

Irene - good for you not having to get a prescription change. I am going next Wednesday for eye check-up and I know I will need a prescription change. I too will be looking for a good deal. I'm not wanting to spent $700 on glasses like I did 4 years ago.
Linda, Jean, Roberta & I went over to mom's yesterday and decorated her apartment for Christmas. She went for her perm (her birthday gift from us) after the decorating and looked very nice when she came out of the hairdresser. Hopefully it will help perc her up abit. This time of year always seems to pull her down. It's hard to believe that 12 years ago today Dad passed away. One never forgets a loved one and I think without mom knowing it, that's some of her problem. Her mind is getting very bad and we've got Home Care coming in to administer her morning pills and make her breakfast. Jean, Roberta and I are taking turns in the evening making sure she has her sleeping pill for night.
We're meeting again today for our Friday get-together. We've started our coffee/goodie Christmas home gatherings. We've got about 7 homes to go to before Christmas and went to our first one on Wednesday. Next one is on Monday and we'll go from there.
Sorry I missed you the other day Shannon as well as the boys. I must have picked a busy day for all of you. Hope we can connect one of these days.
