LONG POST

Hi - wrote this yesterday at the ski hill

Where to start...

It has been a great week for our family. We got Oscar on Monday, started tennis lessons, got back to TKD, started up Spanish again, started indoor football, got back into my Wednesday night outing AND started snowboard lessons. I'm actually sitting in the chalet right now doing this (on paper), watching the boys and taking pics of them.

Football started Tuesday night. Craig plays at either 10-11pm or 11pm-12am. Ahh, for the love of the game. He shredded his knee (again) and so he had to get some tensor "braces" to wear. I told him to stop falling. Apparently that isn't an option.

NOBODY came to stay with us this weekend. We've taken some pictures of him as you can see. We meant to bring him to the ski hill but forgot. Ketchup is probably having him for lunch right now.

I'm writing and watching the boys and they are doing awesome. I thought they may spend the whole lesson on their butts but they have been getting down the hill. I can't tell you how exciting it is. We will definitely have to consider getting a family Seasons Pass next year if the boys continue to love it as much as they seem to right now. It brings back wonderful memories of my childhood. Something has clicked and Sterling is getting down the hill and looking great. Kaedo is doing great as well. It looks like he has some trouble getting his bindings done up but they are making their way down the hill and hiking back up. Good sign they are having fun.

I have taken about 30 pictures and some video so I will post the them so you can see as soon as I go through them.
Tried to add some video with no luck. I will get Craig to try later.
Well, that's about it. Sorry on the slow posting this weekend. I had a large project due and concentrated my free time on doing that.

talk later,
s

Oscar looks great!!! I'm sure you will enjoy having him around for awhile. Your week sure sounds busy and lots of fun. Glad to hear Sterling and Kaeden are enjoying their snowboarding and doing so well at it. Sterling's school project sounds awesome as well - good luck with it Sterling!

We got home from our trip to P.A. on Saturday after helping Kelly & Petrica with Jacob. He had canker sores on his tongue and the daycare sent him home on Monday noon and said not to bring him back for a week. We offered to come up on Tuesday to stay home with him. We had such a fun time with him and we were as sad to go as he was to see us go.

Sunday was beautiful here and when we got home from church and lunch, we went for a long walk - stopped at Timmy's for coffee and home for supper. Robert and Barb came over around 7:30 and we started playing Canasta and ended up playing until 12:00 o'clock!! Barb had to work this morning and I was getting up to go to Curves. Silly people but we had lots of fun.

I went to Curves this morning, came home and got ready to go to the hospital for my blood work, went shopping and got home around 11:30 a.m. Lynne Unger called to say she was in town and we went to a new coffee place downtown and then Joe and her came over to our place around 4:00 p.m. for a drink. We decided to go out for supper and Hank & Jewel joined us. Got home awhile ago and have a tanning time at 8:30 p.m. - Boy does the day go by fast!

Denis & Irene - hope you're all settled in your new home! Thanks again for the Timmy's coffee on Tuesday - we left each other so fast, I think we forgot to thank you. So nice visiting with you again - short & sweet!

Have a great week and keep the photos coming Shannon - they're GREAT!!

BIG HUGS TO EVERYONE!
