7:24 and counting

Sleepover (easy on the sleep) parties are done and all is almost silent here tonight. It had been recorded that Sterling got under 5 hours sleep last night with Kaedo probably having gotten less than that. They had so much fun. Kaedo fell asleep in the car between the party and home and Sterling tried to sleep between the party and bowling but I just wouldn't shut up. They both had a blast and are anxiously waiting for the red light from us to have a party of their own. When I get back from CHA I think we will do it. ugh.
Sterling is in the shower right now, and Kaedo is following shortly, and lights should be out, without too much complaining by 8:15. They need to be bright eyed and bushy tailed tomorrow for the slopes, so off they go.
Pretty casual day all in all. Just hung out, watched a movie, had supper and played a game.
Have a great rest of the weekend,
s

Glad to hear the boys had a fun sleepover with their friends. Hope you and Craig had a nice evening together as well. Thanks for the call and looking forward to getting the boys school pictures.

We got the material to start recovering our kitchen chairs yesterday and Stan started with them this afternoon. I think they're going to look really good once we're all done. We've had the set since our 25th anniversary so they done well.

Hockey game last night and tonight so I've had control of the remote!! Not much on t.v. tonight but noticed Pretty Woman and decided to watch it (probably our favorite movie) for about the 6th time! Thought I'd drop a quick note before heading downstairs to watch it.

Talk to you tomorrow - good luck on the slopes Sterling & Kaeden - looking forward to seeing a video of all the action.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Glad you survived the sleepover. It sounds like the boys certainly had a great time. Like Stan and Shirley, we are also looking very forward to receiving the boys' pictures. Jessica said she'd bring them down with her. We are collecting "bed" gifts in anticipation of Emma's arrival. It is fun to do especially when you find neat stuff. We have already started on the boys and a trip or two to Mexico should allow for some different purchases.

We went to the flea market yesterday morning and then to an Air Force Band concert at the University in the afternoon. It was a terrific concert with a very good female vocalist. They played some very complicated pieces very well.

The weather is cool (60's) and not sunny. It is supposed to improve in a couple of days. Hope so as we do love the sun, not sitting in it, just having it around.

Look forward to video of their great day on the slopes. Let us know if the photos were a hit.

Love to all

I know this is a little late, but your kids are waiting for the 'green' light, not the 'red' light. The red light is the one they already have, meaning no sleepovers. The green light gives them to go-ahead to have a friend stay over. Remember, green means go, red means stop.
