White Boys Can't Jump

Sorry for the obscure movie reference in the title, running short on wit tonight. Since we take turns driving to basketball, this is the first real chance I got to take a picture of Sterling in action. He really seems to enjoy playing and is doing quite well. It's just too bad that the snow has started to fall and he hasn't been able to practice outside. Nonetheless, I think for right now it's a toss up between which he enjoys more, basketball or bowling. Next time he sees his Uncle Kelly he'll have to ask for some tips since his Dad doesn't know much about the sport. Enjoy the pictures.

The photos bring back memories of watching you learn the ropes (hoops) of basketball when you first started. Good number for you, you are a 10.

Great Thanksgiving dinner today at the clubhouse. Huge amount of food cooked to perfection, not too many people. After dinner, we went to the dog races, had a very fun time. People are so friendly and before you know it you're talking with the people all around you. You sure don't get any lonely feelings here.

Tomorrow is THE BIG SHOPPING day of the year down here but we have decided not to line up for a ticket at 3 am. The item we wish to purchase is way more than we want to spend. So we'll sleep in 'til 6 and then go shopping. There is a Macy's and a Target just 5 minutes away. Love Macy's. Don't have a whole lot of Xmas shopping left to do, went through the stash I've been collecting and was amazed at how much I had. You don't notice it so much when you start in January.

It got cool here today, around 12C, quite a cold wind. Supposed to warm up again on Saturday or Sunday, just in time for us to leave. Oh well, no shovelling.

Love to all

Way to go Sterling!! Jump high! Good photos Craig. I'm sure Uncle Kelly can give Sterling lots of pointers to be a great basketball star one day.

Denis & Irene - have fun shopping tomorrow. My sister Roberta and Jim went down to Lethbridge on Wednesday morning and then on to the states to shop!!! She's doesn't think she'll be up at 5:00 a.m. to go shopping but we'll find out when she comes home.

BIG HUGS TO EVERYONE!
