Bike Abuse

One last post before I leave the blogging to the expert, Shannon.
I had to post some pics from our last bike ride, probably the reason Sterling's bike bit the dust. I hope this next bike is durable because he shows no mercy. I was very impressed with Kaeden's biking skills as well, he has suddenly lost his fear of jumps and was rockin' the BMX track with his brother.

Enjoy,
Craig

We are now at Galvin Bay Resort and as I watch the boys going down stairs on their bikes I wonder if they'll (bikes that is) will last until their next birthday. It is scary to watch, so I turn my back and close my eyes.

Only two bandaids today. Sterling cut his finger whittling. Baba showed him how it was done, didn't show him how to cut his finger though. Kade went over the handle bars, didn't bleed much, already had the cut just re-opened it. They are hilarious.

Played ring toss this morning then had lunch. Afterwards, went to the zoo. We didn't bring towels but Kade went to the splash park anyway. Got soaked and he only had a dry tee to put on after. He had a ball. Sterling was whittling away. Took the train ride around the zoo park and it started to rain, Sterling whittled all the way back to the car. No Shannon, he doesn't use his knife when the car is in motion. Got back to the campsite, Kade rode, Sterling whittled. Had supper, campfire, roasted marshmallows, now it's dark. They are riding their bikes. It must be way more fun to ride in the dark or near dark. Not to worry guys, they are being looked after. Nervous???

These two are true campers. They love every aspect of it. Sterling helped put up the kitchen today, he just hammered those poor stakes into the ground. He just loves to help do things. Had the drill, saw, most of baba's tools out of the cupboard. Baba's so patient showing them how things are done, he should have been a teacher.

Love to all

Looks like an awesome bike Sterling. Much better than your uncles old one without shocks! Good jumps- hopefully we can see your skills on the bike when we see you.

I know what you mean Shannon about them growing fast - I hardly recognize them or beleive that they are doing what they are doing. Jacob is also trying new things all the time. He no longer likes to take stairs on his stomach, rather he will try to step down - one of these times he is going to take a huge header and break something.

Anyway, the holiday is drawing near an end, we'll see you soon. We are going to give you guys a call from Romania to confirm things on Thursday or Friday. We will phone later here so it is not too early there.

Ciao
