Week 34
What a great week we`ve been having with mom and dad here and the weekend is just going to get better and noisier (LOL). Jessica and the girlies are on their way and we couldn`t be happier. Both boys are coming with me to the airport and when I talked to the girls this morning they wanted confirmation that the boys would be there. Haven`t got everything decided as to what we are going to do but I know we`ll have fun.

It has been a wonderful week. We, also, are excited about the cousins getting together. Emma was so excited because "this will be my first funeral". Don't know how that will go over with the other members of the family but we had a good chuckle. I'm glad Denis sees the funny side of it. His sister has put enormous effort into making mom's day perfect but we told her that nothing is ever perfect no matter how well planned. Of course, we were thinking of Emma and Avery and their take on the whole situation. I do have duct tape somewhere. The boys are discussing their wardrobe for the occasion and that's a laugh a minute. It's wonderful how a sad occasion can be turned into a laugh by what young people say and do. Mom, the great teacher that she was, would appreciate it more than anyone.
We plan to have a super weekend regardless of what we decide to do and the weatherman says he will co-operate.

Sounds like you've been having so much fun with all your family around and even more with the little girls there. The weekend will go by so fast. Will be thinking of you on the 22nd.
I got a call from Gail yesterday to catch up on a visit. She was heading down to Saskatoon today (Sat) to catch a visit with her sister-in-law and nieces and as we were talking, asked what we were doing for the long weekend and we said not too much and she decided on the spot to come for a personal visit!!! YEH!! She's going to be here for supper and we can hardly wait to get our BIG HUG and visit till wee hours of the morning like we used to do when they came to S.C. for a visit.
