Flashback

When I talked to Craig about not wanting to do the picture of the day any more he suggested I go back into our archives and pull out some pictures that have already been taken that you may have not seen. This one was taken in June 2004 and you can see the weather was great. Shirley and I must have been sitting in the swing hoping not to get soaked when this was going on.

Stan still looks exactly the same. Craig is now a hippie and the boys are twice that size. It's hard to remember them being so small. Sterling would have been going into grade one and Kaedo into Sr. Kindergaten. Now Sterling is graduating from 8th grade. Shocking.

If you're interested in some flashback pictures let me know and I'll start posting them regularly.

Always interested in any photos you care to post. Looks like everyone was having a good time and the weather looked great.

Went to Seaside today to have lunch with Jack and Joan. That is the St. Tropez of Florida. It was outstanding. We were getting ready to bike to the State Park when they phoned. They were about an hour north and we were about an hour east, so it was an incredible place to meet and eat. The margaritas were outstanding also. The State park will still be there tomorrow so we can always do it then...before the big game that is. More interested in the commercials than the game. There'll be lots of rockin' places around here to watch the game but the smoke is too much so we'll probably watch it at home.

A little cooler here today, need long sleeves but I guess we've been luckier weatherwise than the Atlantic coast. It's been quite cool over there.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Love to all

We as well as interested in any photos you would like to post Shannon. Love, love, love looking at old photos as you can tell by how many photo albums we have in our home. In fact, I was just looking at the booklets you made years ago that I still have sitting on our end tables in the living room. I have a terrible time throwing any photos away and when we had to go through mom's stuff and throw alot of albums away - I know I cried. Mine will also be thrown out when I'm gone but till then, I check them out every once in awhile.

That was a beautiful day and yes I'm sure we were sitting on the swing and I think they knew better than to get us wet - right! We probably wouldn't get away with it now though, they'd get us first thing. All of them got pretty drenched that day but doesn't look like any of them minded. Grade one and Sr. Kindergarten and now look how grown up they are. Time just flys by way too fast.

Just got home from celebrating with Stan's Uncle Ike for his 82nd b'day. There were 22 of us for supper at Houston's and we got there at 5:00 p.m. and were all done eating and men off to hockey by 6:40 p.m. They did a great job and food was delicious.

Tomorrow we will go to church and then Stan plans on settling in to watch the big football game. Hope your days together were fun.

BIG HUGS TO ALL!
