and so it begins

While the season hasn't started, Kaedo is busy with soccer. He has been practicing once a week since October but now we have gone to twice a week and in April we will begin our outdoor practices.
And while the official season hasn't begun, you know another season of soccer is upon us when you go to the uniform fitting. That was Tuesday. Kaedo is not thrilled with the uniform this year, but I quite like it. This year they will get home and away jerseys, shorts, socks, jacket and pants, bag and cold gear shirt. The kids seem to think this is free, where as my Visa whimpers when I hand over the money.
We've already been given a tournament schedule which includes Oshawa, Whitby, Trenton, Ottawa and others. It will be a busy season of tournaments, practices and league games. I personally love it and Kaedo loves it, so I am counting down the days until I see him in action again.

Great gnome photo again. The weather really does look great there.

Hard to believe soccer is starting again already. Hope you control yourself a little better this year in the cheering section Shannon. Lol. Let us know his schedule when you get it so we can plan something for when he can get time off. Not finished our winter travelling yet and already thinking of our summer trips.

We are in Biloxi, Mississippi. Arrived in the dark which we don't normally do but I really wanted to sightsee on the way so our 2-1/2 hour drive took six hours. Cool this morning but sunny and will warm up. Won't be as warm as Tampa but we are quite a bit further north, although still on the Gulf. Lovely park with colorful cottages, swimming pool, lake for fishing, wonderful children's park and nice RV sites, cable and wifi. It has the same amenities we've paid $50+ a night for but as it's a Coast to Coast we get in for $10. We have booked all our Coast parks until we leave for home and only have about a week that we'll have to pay in parks we're not members at. The Coast parks are so easy to cancel and book elsewhere if we change our mind, which we've already done twice. Life is good.

Love to all

Good afternoon. Just finished checking photos of the boys from the beginning of the year and wow - they seem to have grown up so fast. They are such good looking guys!

Have fun with your soccer Kaeden - we know you will do well!

Bill & Margaret from Regina came yesterday afternoon, they offered to take us out for supper and then we went over to Ed & Marion's for wine/coffee and a visit. Got home rather late but had a fun evening. Bill & Margaret had a few plans for this morning, so I went to Line Dancing and Stan went for coffee. We came home after 10:00 and made a bacon, egg, hashbrowns & toast brunch. They are off dealing on a vehicle this afternoon and we told them they were more than welcome to stay over tonight. Stan & Robert are off to visit mom K. this afternoon and I've started a book which I'm having trouble putting down so I know what I'll be doing till our company returns. We're having left overs for supper tonight so I won't be slaving over the stove again.

It's been snowing lightly all morning - not enough to get "the toy" out yet but I'm sure Stan will be able to play with it again before our winter is over.

Hope everyone is having a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!
