Week 3 and the rain is here. I will take the rain any day if it means no snow. I understand that the West is expecting some snow this weekend. Yuck! Not too much going on here. The kids are busy with school, Sterling has his new permanent teacher and Kaedo is enjoying 7th grade and the craziness that is his teacher.
I think it is supposed to stay like this for the next couple of days but I don't mind! More reason to wear a hat!

Did some Christmas shopping today, yay. Actually shopped for almost 1-1/2 hours which must be an all time record. Quite successful considering I usually only buy one thing and then leave the store. Got a few things purchased much to my surprise. Still have a ways to go so I hope the shopping fever hits again real soon.
Beautiful day here today but the park is emptying as people prepare to move south for the winter. Lots are holding off while the weather is nice but it is supposed to snow on Saturday so by Monday everyone will be on their way. Most of us prefer weekday travel just in case of a breakdown. Easier to get service and continue on our way.
