Easter Money

For Easter, the boys were blessed with money from their grandparents. Thank you. They didn't know what they wanted to buy, so they held onto their money for a whole week - yikes!

Sterling decided mid-week last week that he would like to buy a new wallet. We searched all over the place for one and finally ended up at West49 - a skateboard shop. He found and fell in love with a Fox brand wallet and that ate up all his savings. His comment to me was, "kinda ironic that I bought a wallet and now have no money to put in it".

Kaedo had saved quite a bit of money and so he bought himself a new pair of shoes. These are Adidas ______ Suede, Special Edition, or something like that. We went back twice for him to try them on and he tried to convince me that the shoes he got two months ago needed to be replaced, but I wasn't budging, so he broke down and bought them himself.

So, thanks for the money - it was well spent!

Great shoppers and hard to believe they held on to their money for a whole week BUT well worth it and you're welcome for the Easter treat! It wasn't much but glad to see you did some shopping. The wallet looks like one that will last a long time and hopefully get some money in it and Kaeden's shoes look cooooool!! Hope his other shoes don't need replacing already but now he can switch from them to the new ones.

Stan and I have been busy working on renos on the bathroom - Stan working in the attic and me scraping stiple off the ceiling - NOT A FUN JOB!! I've only got 2/3's done and hope to finish it off tomorrow. Then I've got to decide what color paint we want to have - fun and games but hopefully it will be worth it in the end.

Sorry I missed you today Shannon - thinking about you and wondering how you were - love you lots!

BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Glad you were able to find something you wanted and had the money to spend on it. It's always fun to get money no matter ow old you are.

Had a great dinner out with friends last night and today we got our medical tests done, voted, took recycling in, etc. etc. Nothing much happening but it is the calm before the storm. The weather was lovely and we spent time outside reading.

Watching the election results as I type and it looks about what was expected. Love to see the Bloc with so few seats. Finally the Quebecois are voting for Canada.

Love to all
