Week 34

Week 34 and yesterday when this photo was taken the weather was miserable. Oh well, what can you do. We had some really nice days last week but this week not so much. The boys are busy with school and activities. Sterling is working on a huge project for school which I am hoping to video tape so you can see it. He has done an amazing job. I am so impressed. Kaedo is busy with soccer. He was bummed not to play on Sunday but had practice last night and was happy to be on the field with his buddies. Just received an email from the team manager about one of the away tournaments. We had to book the hotel through this team booking website and were advised that there was a minimum 2 night stay and that the cost was $114 per night. Yikes! You pretty much have to stay with the team so that's the way it goes. I figure if he and Craig don't eat all weekend we should be ok. Ha!

Guys look great!! Where has 34 weeks gone? Our weather is pretty crappy here as well. Sunday we were very glad we had spent the $400 to remove the tree in our back yard or it would have probably been laying on top of the house. Yesterday it rained all day but not as much wind and today it's dull and dreary but thank goodness, no wind!

Hope the video works for you to show us Sterling's project - that would be wonderful.

Hope the hotel Craig & Kaeden stay in for the tournament have a continental breakfast and they could take lots up to their room for later!!

Hope you all have a great day - Stan's off for a massage early this morning, I walked to Curves and Linda just called to arrange our get together today. BIG HUGS TO ALL!

How come you two always take such a great photo...or is it the photographer??

Got the phone and computer up and running today so now we can communicate until next time it goes down. It was weird this morning being without cell or computer but somehow I got them both working again. The first call I got was from Denis saying he'd been released from the hospital. He said he'd been calling for about an hour and no answer. I arrived at the hospital 45 minutes later and his first words were "what took you so long". I trust this is a temporary insane moment otherwise he'll need the other shoulder replaced. He is now sleeping soundly in his own bed.

The weather was very nice here this morning, we sat out for our lattes. It is a little hazy now but calm and warm.

Looking forward to seeing your project Sterling.

The hotel rate will seem like peanuts when he's a star. I know it's quite a shock to the pocketbook when they start getting into different activities. I seem to remember Alto Sax lessons....not to mention the purchase of the instrument. It really does go around. Maybe that's what they mean when they say it's great being grandparents...you can sit back and watch. Seriously, it is difficult to financially manage all the things they want to do but it is totally worth it in the long run. Just the experience factor alone makes it all worthwhile.

Love to all
