Nice Hat, Man

Kaedo has a love for hats and shoes. He currently owns 8 different caps that he has had customized and brims rolled just the right way. On Friday he decided he HAD to have a flat brimmed hat. I don't know if you have seen these, but these are all the rage. The brim is totally flat and the kids don't roll them. They are usually worn backwards or on an angle and in most cases, by boys with their pants around their balls. Thank god we haven't gotten to that!
He decided to have this one customized as well. He had "Strikers # 2" embroidered on it. When they first did it they made a mistake and Kaedo was mature enough to point out the error and request that it be re-done. I was so impressed.
In his opinion it was money well spent!

Cute picture Kaeden!! Love the dimples!

I went to my second last Line Dancing this morning, we went shopping abit, Stan went out for lunch with guys from work to celebrate someone's 60th b'day, I went for a massage at 1:00 but it didn't help the headache I woke up with this morning. I rested for about an hour after, got supper on the go and took a Motrin which I think finally helped. Stan's been working on the bathroom tonight inbetween watching hockey and has finally quit for the evening. We're heading downstairs to relax.

Hope you had a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

You boys look so grown up - and the buzz cut is by far the best way to have your hair in the summer!!!!! Good on you Sterling. As for the hat Kaedo - not my style by I know from teaching young people . . . . I am old! You look great and I agree with your mom about the pants down at your knees - don't go there!!! How did that song go on American Idol "Pants on the ground, pants on the ground, lookin like a fool with your pants on the ground!"

Hope all is well there. Things are tense here as we have been on strike fro a couple of days and family finances are a worry with two/four days pay were just lost. We are hanging in except at time I think the kids suffer from our short tempers. Wish us luck.

Craig - by the way you did not have to replace the shirt for Jacob - you have given him lots over the years and he truly does not need it. He wears his Pittsburgh jersey and shirt non stop. Thanks for thinking of him.

Great photo Kaedo! If an agency ever got hold of some of your pictures you'd be modelling for Calvin Klein, at the least.

Shirley, try touching the ground with your hands. Have your butt against the counter so that you keep your balance. Tuck your head as close to your body as you can and remain in that position for a few minutes. I suffer from headaches when I wake up some mornings and also if I sit for too long in the car. It stretches your spine and neck and my headaches are usually gone in minutes. Massage and medications never help. Just a thought.

Hope you and Petrica get back to work soon. Raising a family and losing income is a plight no one needs. You're right about the students suffering but the teachers do too. The small increase in salary doesn't usually make up for all the income lost during the strike. Hope things straighten out for you quickly.
