week 35

Week 35 and the weather is beautiful. It has been touch and go for the last few days with rain and sun combined to make it dicey when deciding what to do. Busy day today with a doctor's appointment, a trip to Costco, laundry, laundry and more laundry, picking up the boys, recycling and garbages and many other misc chores. While I'm not working I'm working hard to stay busy and do what I can around the house to keep the pressure off Craig. Things seem to be working out and the number of "blue jobs" I've done lately are more than I have in our 15 years of marriage. And you know what? I don't mind a bit.

Wow - week 35 already - before we know it, it will be week 1 again!!!

Please, please, please, send some of that nice weather our way - it started raining last night and has kept up off and on all day today plus being a +8. Good for you Shannon to be taking on those "blue jobs" - keeps you busy and you do feel good when it's all said and done. Hope your doctor appt. went well today.

Our day has gone by so fast and we haven't got too much accomplished at all. Our Honda had to be taken in this morning bright and early - 8:15 a.m., coffee, Line Dancing, coffee for me, Mom had an appt. at 11:15 a.m. and after that, she wanted to take Stan & I for lunch. We went shopping abit after lunch, took mom home and got her settled, came home to a message that it was time for coffee!! Met Joe & Lynne for coffee and just got home about 1/2 hour ago and Stan got the primer paint out to do the ceiling in the bathroom and we got a call from Robert & Barb inviting us over for a chicken supper with lemon pie for dessert - how can we refuse an invitation like that!! I guess the bathroom renos will be put on hold for another day. The car has to be taken in again tomorrow morning at 11:00 a.m. to have wheel bearings put in so probably won't get too much started in the morning again.

Hope you had a good day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!! Love you lots.

Week 35 is another great photo boys. Wow, not too much longer before school is over for the season. We're sure you're NOT looking forward to summer break...much.

Blue jobs are usually more interesting than pink ones. I enjoyed putting Avery's bed together last week and doing things that I wouldn't normally do. Vacuuming and washing floors should be blue job. We love a clean home but hate doing the work.

We put our flowers out from under the awning this morning. They were getting waterlogged with all the rain we had. It's dry today but cool, however, the weather channel said we were supposed to get more rain tonight.

The week has been slow so that Denis heals well. His physiotherapist was very happy with his progress when he went yesterday, he's far past what is the norm for a week after surgery. It's the calm before the storm though so by Friday he'll have to be up and running, lol. He's had plenty of time to lollygag.

Yay Vancouver!! I guess we'll watch the Stanley Cup games now that a Canadian team is in the running. I don't care what team gets to the main event as long as it's a Canadian one.

Love to all
