Week 9 and the weather calls for ski jackets. While it isn't really cold, the boys wore their ski jackets yesterday. I worked in the centre as I had an event to attend and the boys were adamant that they were not going to take the bus. They hate the bus. So they decided they would walk home. Needless to say they were bundled up in their ski jackets, had their toques and gloves and after school walked home. I got home around 8pm and was able to spend some time with the family before everyone headed to bed. I am so happy not to have to make the drive 5 days a week.

Good for you guys to walk home together!! Hope you didn't get too cold. You would never, never be able to walk as far as you have to in the weather we've been having - it's -24 with a wind chill factor of -38!!!!! We're tough Saskatchewan people and it's darn cold! It is so nice that you don't have to drive 5 days of the week Shannon - we love that you don't have to do that everyday, especially when there's lots of snow.
Thanks for the picture of Sterling & Ketchup - I absolutely love that picture of him - he just gets cuter and cuter everyday (well I don't know if you call a 13 year old cute - handsome sounds so grown up but he such a good looking young fellow!)
