While waiting for their haircut appointments on Sunday we stopped in to Zellers to pick up a few things. We were in the stationery dept and came across these Zwipes. Kaedo has desperately wanted one for about 3 months but they were just too expensive for him to justify. The sign said $2.97. We knew it had to be wrong as we had seen them at WalMart for $10.97. We figured we might as well go to the register to see what they had to say. When the clerk rang them up they were $5.97. So, being the mom I am, I went back to the stationery dept, pulled off the tag and brought it to her. Sure enough, we got them for $2.97. To boot, someone had drawn on the first page of Kaedo's so we got an extra 10% off his. Once we got outside and they tried them Kaedo's pen didn't work. So back into the store we went and 'mom to the rescue', we were able to switch out Kaedo's pen for one that worked. He was thrilled. He spent the rest of the afternoon drawing and erasing the cover to get it exactly as he wanted it. Not too bad for $2.51!

Can't say I've ever heard of Zwipes but good for you to stick to your guns and get a great price on it. Have fun with it Kaeden!
We helped Caleb celebrate his 2nd birthday a little ahead of time. We had angel food, juice and coffee this morning around 10:30. We ended up having 11 little ones here which we haven't had that many for a long time! Caleb had a ball and is such a little sweetheart. THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED CELEBRATE WITH HIM!
Kelly and family got away around 5:00 p.m. after a short but fun few days! Before you know it, we will be heading up to P.A. and then flying to Toronto! We'll have to start counting the sleeps pretty quick.

10C at 10.30 a.m., not too bad considering we're about as far north in Washington as you can get. Probably about the same weather as Victoria. The trees still have green leaves, all their leaves on some trees. Very lush and beautiful here. We're in the middle of nowhere about 1 mile from the shore of Juan de Fuca, 7 miles from Blynn and 12 miles from Sequim (pronounced Squim). The grass is like moss and the water is soooo soft. The only thing that could make it better is sun but we're not complaining. HAPPY SUNDAY!
