No longer a TWEENager

13 - how can that be? I can't believe it. Today started early with a regular breakfast, opening of his cards and gifts and then a trip to soccer. That has been followed up by a day with friends at Joyride 150 and lunch at McDonalds. We'll be having breakfast for supper, complete with mini hashbrowns and bacon and we will end the celebrations with cake and some singing. Since Kaedo didn't go to Joyride, we stopped at Dollarama and picked up some decorations and have decorated up the dining room with streamers and all that fun stuff. I'll take pictures tonight (camera is with Craig) and will post more tomorrow.
Above is a range of photos taken on his birthday since 2003. So many changes. Love the long hair.
13 - time has flown at the speed of light. My son is no longer a little boy but a young man and I am honored to be his mom. He is an amazing individual who has always held his head high and made the most of what life has to offer. He is so fantastic I can't even come up with the words to describe him. I love him to bits.
Can't wait to see what the next 13 brings us. An adventure I'm sure.
Happy Birthday, my sweet boy. I love you.

We hope you had a wonderful, wonderful birthday Sterling!!It's hard to believe that we have a grandson who is a teenage already - the years fly by too quickly. Sounds like you had a great day on your special day. Love you lots and lots!

Dull and dreary here this morning and they are saying it's supposed to get cold and snow. The snow we had last Monday is just about all gone and I guess it's time for more.

Hope you're all having a great day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Great collage, you are getting better looking with age, who could have guessed that. So glad you had a wonderful day yesterday.

Raining here but that won't stop our plans for the day. The bonus is that it's not cold. I bought small umbrellas and ponchos at the dollar store before leaving Lethbridge. They will come in handy today. We're heading to Port Townsend and then going down the west side of the 101 along Dahob Bay and the Hood Canal. We'll try to take the 106 back up if we find it. It's supposed to be very scenic and today we'll take a camera. Forgot it yesterday and we saw some fabulous homes and scenery.

Love to all
