A Laugh

Last night we sat down and watched Two and a Half Men. In the episode Charlie got a replacement housekeeper for Berta who was away at a family reunion. At one point in the show Esmerelda (replacement) folded his toilet paper end into a point. Charlie thought this was fantastic.
This morning as I was finishing up in the washroom I looked down to see the toilet paper folded into a point. Ha!
Made my day.

Sorry I missed that episode last night - I think I was watching an hour long program at the same time - I should have taped it, it sounded good!

We were out and about this morning in a bit of a blizzard!! We now have lots and lots of snow to get us in the Christmas spirit. We helped at the Shoe Box collection this morning from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. Not very many came in but we're sure it was because of the weather. We got home around 1:45 or so and by then it had stopped snowing so Stan & I went out and shovelled sidewalks - ours, houses to the north and south and the 87 year old fellow across the street. Now Stan is resting and I'm heading to get cleaned up after Line Dancing and shovelling, there is a need to do that!!

Hope you're all having a great day - love you lots - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

If that's all it takes to make your day, you're not hard to please. Lucky you Craig. A very nice gesture even if it was a bit of a laugh. That is still the best show going, I think. It's the only show we watch except for the news. We're not watching anything down here as we can't make the roof satellite work and we're not home long enough to bother putting up the portable one.

Had a great day out and about exploring different beaches, watching surfers, trying to navigate the roads when the rain and hail are coming down in sheets. Did Highway 105 peninsula and came back up the 101. Tomorrow is our last day here so we just want to stay close, not put on a whole bunch of miles. There's an oyster place not too far from here so we'll get some of those if the weather is nice and we can BBQ them. We can walk to Ocean Shores from here along the beach. Have to see what it's like out tomorrow as it's a long way if the weather isn't good.

Auntie Laura phoned today wondering where we would be for US Thanksgiving. They're where we will be for Thanksgiving now, but they have to go to Seattle on Monday and Tuesday as her green card expired. We'll probably see them in the next week or two.

Even though the weather is less than perfect, the ocean makes it all worth while. The storms are fantastic and we opened the bedroom window this morning as we were lying there, got wet and windblown, but the pounding of the surf made it all ok. The sea is so rough, so beautiful.

Love to all
