A few weeks ago we sat down and played Dominoes. We had a lot of fun. We have a set that gives instructions on how to pay a whole bunch of games but as we are 'instructions challenged' we ended up playing straight Dominoes and Chicken Legs, a game Sterling taught us. I thought I had pictures of Chicken Legs but I guess not. It was a fun game and we enjoyed spending the evening playing games together instead of watching TV. I know Stan and Shirley spend time playing card games with friends and family and have taught Craig and I to play some. Sterling loves to play games and must get that from his grandparents.

Stan & I remember teaching Sterling the Dominoes game - Chicken Foot and it is alot of fun - not too much hard thinking. Good for him to remember how to play because we didn't get a chance to play it this summer with them. We do have fun playing cards with friends and family and we still have alot of games that both Kelly & Craig got over the years. Another game we enjoy is crokinole and we usually get that one out at the Klassen Christmas get-togethers. It is a fun evening playing a game rather than sitting at the computer or watching t.v. programs over and over.

It is a beautiful day here today - blue sky, sun shining and it was -5 when I went to Curves this morning. Almost a balmy spring day!!! well almost, except for the tons of snow that's around. We had a fun day with mom, Linda, Jean and Roberta all together and I just got home. Stan & Robert are over visiting Gramma Klassen and playing Uno with her. She really doesn't remember how to play anymore but they help her lots and then she turns to them and says "you're cheating!!" There's another Bronco game tonight and then only 2 in December - 1st and 3rd and then that's it for home games till 2011.

Well, guess I'd better check for something for a quick supper because hockey games start at 7:00 p.m. and Stan usually leaves home around 6:30 p.m. Not that I have to make much for supper because he went out with a couple of guys for the chinese smorg at Wong's.

Hope you all had a great day - love you lots - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Love dominoes and we have Mexican train which is really fun. I know you phoned and asked us how to play Shannon but it is so difficult to explain on the phone. I can't remember if we played that game with the boys when they were here or not, there was so much going on.

We went for a crab and prawn feast tonight at Laura and Dan's. We had a wonderful salmon supper that they hosted last night but we insisted on paying our share of the crab. It's not cheap even here where they catch it. We came all the way to Coos Bay today (86 miles) instead of staying in Florence (45 miles) from where we were last night. We have a wonderful park right on the bay with excellent facilities. Water, power, sewer, wifi and cable all included. We were here for about an hour and Dan and Laura showed up. We hadn't planned to even see each other after we left South Beach today as we weren't supposed to come this far south, but they saw our motorhome south of Florence and assumed we'd come to Coos Bay so they went and bought enough crab to feed all of us and then some. Took some wonderful photos of the sea on our way here and plan to do the seaside road tomorrow or Monday. This is probably our last stop in Oregon so we plan to do some Xmas shopping and get re-fueled prior to hitting the high tax haven called California. The weather is much warmer although the rain is following us. It was a glorious day filled with rain, sun, the sea and beautiful scenery. We did find Devil's Churn and walked down to the water but it was so rough and there were so many rogue waves that we stayed close to the path and didn't venture out onto the rocks. Some of the sightseers got soaked as the ocean was still very angry today. It took us 5 hours to do the 86 miles as we stopped many, many times for photo ops. The erosion is unbelievable, hard to speculate how long this road, the 101, will be able to accommodate traffic unless they do some major repairs. There are places where you're nervous to stand, let alone drive on. There has been so much erosion and the road is in very poor condition from South Beach to Florence. Our tentative next stop will be Trinidad, Ca. A good friend told us we had to stop there for a couple of days so if the timing is right, we will. Another great day

Love to all
