Wednesday afternoon Kaedo and Craig spent some time in the pool horsing around. I tried to convince Craig to jump off the ladder but he declined stating "he didn't want it on the blog" - as if! I got a few videos of them wrestling that I think were fun. The pool was dumped on Thursday and Friday and once again we are left with a dead grass spot in the backyard that needs to be creatively mowed to not look as abysmal as it does. The boys had lots of fun in the pool this summer although the time was short lived.

That pool has certainly made a huge difference in their backyard fun. They enjoy both it and the trampoline so much. Emma rarely, if ever, uses her trampoline, the neighbors do however.
Off to the farmer's market this morning, it's warm with blue sky and clouds. Hope the weather stays good for our park BBQ this evening. This will be the first social event that has ever been held here and it was promoted by one of the full-timers. Not at all what we're used to as anyplace we normally stay has more activities and events than there are hours in the day. Two months today and we'll be on our way south. Having said that, the best laid plans....etc. We'll know we're on our way when we're on the road.

Great to hear all the giggles in the video. It's always sad putting "summer" stuff away because we know what's around the corner. When we get home from Chilliwack, it will already be the middle of Sept. and we'll be cleaning up the yard and putting all my ornaments away and cleaning up flowers. We could already be cleaning up the flowers but we'll hold off till we get home.
Hope you all have a great long weekend - we don't have too much planned other than getting ready to leave on Tuesday morning bright and early.
