Ar-Go-F**k Yourself

No, I'm not being rude - well, not really. Last night we watched Ar.go and that was one of the classic lines used throughout the movie. We all burst out laughing each time the characters said it.

What a terrific movie. Of course the American propaganda was there but Ben.Affleck and the rest of the cast were absolutely amazing. There was not one slow part. The actual footage that is used for the television reporting, etc - Walter.Cronkite, Ted.Koppel, etc, was great.

At the end they showed images of the actual people the movie was based on and they were so spot on with the casting.

Ben.Affleck starred, directed and produced and let me tell you - he deserved every award he received this year.

This is a MUST SEE! And if you dont - well, Ar-Go-F**K Yourself!

That's almost what a Canadian standing in line at the Mexican/US border crossing told this American couple. It was too funny! The Canadian said to us that if you want to see a movie that will really get you mad, go see Argo. All the G.D. American propaganda with all their troops and they did dick all. The Canadians were the only ones that had anything to do with that rescue. I kind of felt sorry the the American as he was half the size of our guy. I did have to agree with him though. This guy from BC was just fuming. Love standing in the lines waiting to cross that border, you just never know who you'll meet and you'll always meet a bunch because the line can take up to two hours on a busy day. The time goes fast though. Old people really are a riot sometimes and there are great stories to share.

Played poker yesterday afternoon in the card room, Denis played water volleyball. Our friends came for happy hour, then we had a fish fry at the club house and karioke around the pool bar. Do these people really think they can sing?? It's good for a bit and good for a laugh.

Played Omaha hi-lo in the card room this morning, then transported all my computer crap to the clubhouse. My Virgin Broadband doesn't work here in Parker. Heading to Lake Havasu around 6 to see the stock car races. Willie Nelson isn't someone we want to see anymore, especially because it's an outdoor concert and it's way too hot to sit in the sun all afternoon.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and that the weather is good.

Yes, Shirley, it just seems like we got down here and we are heading north already. April 4th is the magic, or not so magic, day we head straight up. Want to be in Lethbridge for the 7th. Lot of love to you and Stan.

Love to all
