Week 40! Can you believe we have done this for 92 weeks? And still going strong????
The weather has been beautiful and the boys are enjoying summer already. Kaedo has plans to go paint balling on tomorrow, Craig is playing football, Sterling is biking, I am puttering around the house. We are so excited that Jessica and the girls are coming tomorrow and have learned this week that mom and dad will be here on August 3. Funny that J is coming on July 3 and mom and dad on Aug 3.
A couple of celebrations I need to include - Happy Birthday Petrica on the 28th. Happy Anniversary Stan and Shirley on the 29th and Happy Anniversary mom and dad, tomorrow, July 3.

Happy Anniversary Stan and Shirley! We'll celebrate ours by driving Jessica and the girls to Calgary for their flight and visiting my mom. Nothing special planned.
We rented a propane fire pit so that Em could do S'mores tonight. We had a real fire pit last week but Denis couldn't chop wood and by the time we got back home every evening it was too late and we were too tired to bother. This one has fake wood and a propane bottle. She won't care as she was quite content to roast marshmallows over the BBQ last week; this will be a real treat. She'll make a whole pile but won't eat any so maybe she'll bring some with her. I'm sure she'll make loads of them.
It's really hot here today. Denis is sitting out in the sun absorbing the cancer rays and I'm sitting in enjoying the breeze through the open windows and door. It's even hot in the shade.
We're having a fashion show when Jessica arrives. I broke down and went shopping yesterday and bought some really hideous things but they fit. Now she will help me weed out the ones that are going back to the store. Shopping really is a penance, I'd rather wash floors on my hands and knees....and you know how painful that is at my age.
