Soccer Tourney Pix

We recently received some soccer pictures that one of the mom's took at a recent tournament. These are great pictures of him. He is loving it. On Monday night he played defense - first time - and was amazing. That is a great position for him. I hope they give him the opportunity to play there again. We are now on a 2 week hiatus and return to soccer the first week in August with two practices, a two day tourney and a league game all in one week. We'll be back on the field cheering.

This morning the boys are at the skate park. Sterling has been there since 9am and Kaedo went at 10:30am. Sterling phoned and said there was another scooter kid there so Kaedo went down to practice and have fun.

Sterling goes to the doctor today and we have signed up for the Running Room's "20 Minute Challenge". We are looking forward to taking part in this event as a family this evening. Hopefully it cools down a little and we won't be too hot. Should be good. Everyone is looking forward to it. I'm going to take my camera, so I hope to get a few pics.

Yesterday afternoon we went and saw the final "Harry Potter" movie. It was very good and action packed. If you have seen the other movies, I would recommend seeing the conclusion of the series. Gotta love 1/2 price Tuesdays!

Wow Kaedo! You look awesome in those photos. Can't wait to see you in action with our own eyes. I've got the list of all your games and practices put into the phone so we know what we're doing on what day. We'll be busy that's for sure.

Have fun at the '20 minute challenge'. I'm sure it will be hot if our weather reports of your area are accurate.

Hate to say we haven't seen any 'Harry Potter' movies. The girls are too young and the boys are too far away. Emma doesn't like 3D so we don't get to see all the movies geared for that age group either. Hope Avery likes 3D when she gets a little older. 1/2 price is a good deal, don't know if we still have that here or not. We go to the 'Movie Mill' and it's only $4 for us old farts. Tried to see Thor all week but have just been too busy....doing what, I don't know. Had lunch with Pete and Roz today then went to Costco for some supplies prior to leaving tomorrow.

Love to all

Great soccer shots Kaeden! Keep up the good work and by the sounds of it, Grampa & I will get to see you in action as well. We can hardly wait.

Hope things went well at Sterling's doctor appt. and good for all of you to sign up for the "20 Minute Challenge". With all of you working at it, it will be a fun time together.

Our plans for today going to the Cypress Hills Winery didn't pan out. Yesterday it was +30 something and then a big storm came up last night and when we got up this morning it was +15 with wind blowing and rain. We thought we'd head out around 9:30 but when it wasn't so nice looking out, we decided to wait till a much nicer day. Today was Sam & Linda's 43rd anniversary so Stan & I joined them for Wong's chinese food for supper and just got home awhile ago. Once again, it is raining out and the sky looks horrible - not sure if someone is getting a tornado somewhere. On Monday night Waskisu was hit by one and we saw pictures on the news that night - what a mess. Hail stones the size of golf balls and bigger - they showed the golf course and we couldn't believe the holes on the greens. Guess they're saying this is the year of tornados around Saskatchewan.

We also have never seen any of the Harry Potter movies as you probably already figured that one out for us - RIGHT! Action or Comedy for us two old fogies.

Tomorrow morning I'm meeting Alice, Marsha & Vicki and we're going out to the Rabbit Hill Tea House near Stewart Valley. If you get a chance - check it out and you'll see what a nice place it is. We're sure hoping for nice weather - not that we eat outside or anything but roads out there might not be too good if we get more rain.

Hope you had a wonderful day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!
