Purex 3 in 1 - my true love

Purex 3 in 1 washer/dryer sheets are my best friend. I LOVE THEM! No, this is not a paid advertisement, but I must just tell you how fantastic these are. They come in sheets and all you do is drop it into your washer with your clothes. It releases the detergent as well as a fabric softener and gets your clothes sparkling clean. It then comes out with with a little green bar across the top (when you add it to the wash it is blue). You throw the same sheet in with your clothes to the dryer and that green bar is the static guard. I have been using them for a year and while they are more pricey than regular detergent, I recently bought 5 packages on sale for half price. AND you can always get a coupon online. The nicest thing is that there is no fussing with liquid detergent, or stains from your dry detergent. There is no more Bounce sheets. You know how there are some things you just won't go generic on? Kraft Dinner, Bounty paper towels, Heinz Ketchup, Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup? The list can go on. This is one of these things. If we have to eat pasta for a week so I can buy these sheets we will. If you want me to send you one so you can try before you buy, let me know and I will. After all, I do have 5 boxes. ;)

Good afternoon - I've seen these advertised but have never tried them. I might just have to give them a try Shannon. I think I noticed them at Kelly & Petrica's but wasn's sure how to use them so had to use the messy liquid stuff and bounce sheets.

We just got home around 11:30 from our Tuesday morning coffee and abit of shopping. This afternoon, we're meeting Hank & Jewel at the CAA office around 2:30 to cancel our Minot trip we had planned in Sept., Stan has a dr. appt. at 3:15, then we're meeting Hank & Jewel again for a quick supper and then we're going to the Casino Birthday Party with Ed & Marion and to spend our big $5.

We had such a beautiful day yesterday with sun shining and abit of a breeze so I got ambitious and washed all our windows for the first time since fall. Today it is cloudy and very windy with a forecast of showers - there goes my clean windows BUT I'm not doing them again till the end of summer!

Hope you're having a great day!

A BIG thanks from Stan for his Father's Day gift which he opened early - HE LOVES IT! He hasn't used it yet but plans to right on Father's Day.

Love you lots and BIG HUGS TO ALL!

I've never seen these or seen them advertised. Sounds interesting. We never use dryer sheets as everything is natural fibre so there's no static cling. They do sound user friendly though.

Went into Drumheller today to get some bulbs for our brake lights. I noticed they weren't working when Denis went through a red light. I was behind him in the motorhome and was wondering when he was going to brake but he didn't. Thankfully, that brought my attention to the lights as we're going into Calgary tomorrow and they would be nice to have on the Deerfoot. Thinking back they've been like that for about a month as that's when I noticed a little 'nudge' noise but didn't know what it was trying to 'nudge' me about.

It's been beautiful most of the day here in Drumheller. Everything is so green and the trees are so mature in the park. Lots of people here that we know from Lethbridge. Hope everyone's weather is picking up in the sun department.

Love to all
