Mexican Bracelets

This was red and white

The strings were all white and wound together!

For the last three years, mom and dad have been having these custom bracelets made for the boys. They have always worn them. Sterling's fell off a while ago and Kaedo didn't want to take his off, although you can tell from the photos it was disgusting. This year, mom had one made for me (yay me!) and I have been waiting for Kaedo to decide to get rid of his old one. Finally he did and Tuesday night the three of us put our new ones on. Thanks mom and dad, we love them!

It does look like Kaeden's was ready for retirement!! New ones look very nice!

This morning is my first morning of no Line Dancing till Sept. 1st. My plans last year were to start riding my bike on the mornings I was Line Dancing but not sure if I got doing that very often. This morning the wind is blowing and high chances of rain again and Stan hasn't even had a chance to check our bikes over yet. Too busy with our renos - they're coming along slowly and starting to look quite nice. We ended up getting a plumber in to "help" fix a job - we were dreading the bill because they said it would cost $75 just to come out. He was here for about an hour and the bill came yesterday and Stan told me to guess how much. I guessed around $200 and he said he'd be happy if it was that BUT we were absolutely thrilled when he opened it and it was for $88!!! Went down and cleared that up real fast before they changed their minds!

Stan's at the church helping Robert take down all the tables and chairs from the funeral yesterday and when he gets home, we hope to get quite abit more work done in the bathroom today. We'll see how it goes.

Hope your day is going well so far - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Bracelets look great, glad you like them. Had some different ones made for the girls. They were out of gold coloured wire and bent to spell out their names. Don't think they'd suit you boys.

Denis had a Dr. appointment this morning. I took him home and went for lunch with a friend. Off to Medicine Hat tomorrow for Em's birthday. We're going to the "Cracked Peppercorn" for birthday supper...what happened to McDonalds. Em's decided to have an "adult" meal. Too funny. Saturday we head to Calgary, hopefully get to watch the game somewhere.

Raining slightly here today. We must be getting used to all the rain as we're complaining less.

Yay Vancouver!!!

Love to all
