Flowers

I thought I would show some pictures of the flowers I have in my garden right now. I love flowers and they have greatly enhanced my happiness. I love the simple act of watering them every day, or watching the bees fluttering around and seeing the them reach up to grab a little more sunshine.

Flowers are not cheap but if you shop around you can find good deals. If you haven't added any flowers to your garden, you should. You'll thank yourself. And me :)

Flowers are so beautiful aren't they. I truly think this year we will enjoy them even more if they ever get growing around here. It has been such a long, long, long winter and to me we haven't had much of a spring and the summer will seem very short. I noticed my sweet peas have started to come up and Stan's onion plants are peeking out as well. Enjoy yourself today!

Just got home from walking to Curves and stopping at mom's to give her her morning pills. The walk was beautiful this morning with hardly any wind. It is a time to think and start the day off by being thankful for all we have and can do. We just finished our first cup of coffee and before we sit down for breakfast, Stan's got the paintbrush out to finish the one wall in the bathroom and then we start the ripping apart of the vanity counter and sink! One day it will all be finished.

Hope to get to visit with you guys tonight - maybe Sterling could get the Skype going for us as well - seems like forever since we did that last.

Love you lots - BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Your flowers are gorgeous. Flowers really are so calming and although we have only two big and one little pot, I still enjoy watering them. Make sure yours are still alive when we get there. Oh that's right! Jessica runs death row. I must say her flower pots are wonderful and give the house great curb appeal but ya never know how long they'll live when Jessica is looking after them.

Had a park members meeting on Sunday and a BBQ. It was very informative and we didn't have to cook supper. Yesterday we had friends in for dinner and tonight we've been invited out for dinner. We've been busy with the mundane; physio, xrays, Drs., reading and hockey games. Denis goes back to the surgeon tomorrow and then we're off to the Hat until Sunday after the chuckwagon races. Monday we head out to Drumheller, one of our favorite places, until the 30th. We'll be busy while there as its close proximity to the other side of Calgary will be much enjoyed. We rarely get to the north side since mom and Sue live in the south.

It started pouring last night at 6 and it hasn't let up and it's 3. Hope everyone's weather improves.

Love to all
