Friday night Kaedo got the opportunity to go to a friend's birthday party at a paintball facility about 30 minutes from our home. He was so excited and had nerves about it for days before. We were lucky enough to split the driving with another family and we were the pick up crew. 15 boys with guns is a sight to see. They had so much fun that they spent the entire 3 hours playing and didn't even get the chance to see the birthday boy open his gifts. Kaedo and his buddy chattered all the way home about the shots they got in, the bruises they would have, the NEED to get a paintball gun, their opponents's strengths and weaknesses and when they could do it again. Thankfully we had our thinking caps on that night as we had tarps at the ready for them to sit on.

Playing catch up again. The bike place looks great, just as you described it; it looks cold even. Another great photo with gnome. Hope you never get tired of posing for it boys as it will break your mom's heart. Kaedo, it looks like you had a ball. Mom said you loved it and we hope you don't have too many bruises.
Visited mom yesterday, it was a great visit. Her short term memory is just short of hopeless and she knows it but has accepted it which allows us all to joke about it. Her sense of humor is amazing, I don't remember her having one when I was growing up. It was wonderful to see her looking so healthy.
Supposed to snow here tonight and Seven Persons was evacuated last night as they figured the dam was going to break. First time I've ever heard an emergency session on the radio, we heard the siren and the break in programming so went running to stand in front of the iPod. It was quite something to hear. I remember my mom telling us how they used to gather in front of the radio during the war. Now I have an idea what she meant.
Get rid of that cold Shannon.

Looks like and sounds like Kaeden had a GREAT time!! Craig, do you remember how many bruises you had after doing the paint ball thing? What another great facility to have for young kids - well I'm sure there are adults that love it as well.
