Thursday was an exciting day for Kaedo. He had soccer practice and then he got all his gear. He seems to think it was free. My wallet is still whimpering from the $500. He got a great track suit, a home jersey, away jersey, two pairs of white socks (groan), shorts and a bag. Everything had his number stitched onto it and he has been wearing his jacket constantly when not out scootering. We learned on Thursday that there will be no fundraising (yay!) as they had enough sponsors step up. This will pay for all the tournament entries, refs, etc and we may even get a cut on the hotel rooms for our away tournaments. I hope that happens. Stay tuned for some pictures of Kaedo's first game - it was Monday night at Trent University. Our first road trip.

This is Jacob and Caleb's 2nd night of sleep over. They were helping grampa with lawn clean up this morning and playing out in the back yard and on the deck. We just finished lunch and Caleb's down for his nap, grampa & Jacob are watching a movie and I'm relaxing with my book. When Caleb wakes up, our plans are to go mini golfing and then hockey game and supper. Jacob and Grampa are cheering for the same team so they're having fun!

Like grandma said, it was soooo great talking with you on Monday. You sounded so happy with your performance, good for you, we know you're star power.
Jessica and the girls went home on Tuesday and we went with them. Got home today and had lots of cleaning to do. It's amazing how five of us can live in a motorhome for five days and yet only the floor needed washing. I figured with all that Easter candy, etc. it would be a real mess but it wasn't. Nice to be home for a day or two.
Hair cut tomorrow, then lunch with friends. Friday we head back to Jessica's so that we can watch the wedding on a large screen, then we head to Calgary on Saturday. It is nice to just chill and watch Boston/Montreal tonight. Go Habs!
Weather is nice and we have lots going on so that's a major bonus. Really loving being back in Lethbridge but it's so close to the Hat that we have the best of both worlds.
