Shirley's comments reminded me of that Easter they were here and our trip to Niagara Falls. Sterling thought it was called Lucky Friday instead of Good Friday. For years after we called it that. That was a wonderful visit. If I remember correctly it was the first time Stan and Shirley came to see us. We have always had such wonderful visits with everyone who comes to see us and while today is called Good Friday, I think Lucky Friday is a good name too. We are so lucky to have all of you in our lives.

Great photos, not only of the people involved but the falls have been captured so beautifully. The boys certainly have aged since then but the adults still look as young as ever, lol.
Since every day is the weekend once you're retired, it hard to say one is looking forward to the weekend. We are happy that Jessica and the girls will be here shortly and we'll be seeing all the family tomorrow (minus 4). We're looking forward to seeing our minus 4 and will be booking our tickets as soon as Denis gets his surgery schedule. August will be the month for sure, just don't know the dates yet. Very excited about going though.

We were just showing our pictures to Kelly & Petrica of our first trip down east 7 years ago and commenting on Sterling's calling today Lucky Friday - we'll always think of it as that as well. We have had a bit of a lazy day today - once Caleb has his sleep, we hope to go for a walk with their bikes - it's +9 here but the wind is still cool. Our plans after that are to pick Great Gramma Hendry up and take her out for supper with us to Casey's. Our ham & scalloped potatoes are put on hold till tomorrow and turkey on Sunday.
