Candy Kid

I recently had the opportunity to spend the day in Toronto with a friend and while we were walking downtown we passed a candy store. When I looked in I saw these giant jawbreakers. I immediately thought of Kaedo and had to buy one for him. He spent a lot of days working on it and it made a lot of mess but he loved it. He is my candy kid.

Careful of those jaw breakers, Kaedo. You'd look funny with a cast on your jaw....but still cute.

Last day on the Colorado and lots of chores to do today. We've left everything until the last minute, as we always do, so cleaning, packing, laundry and grabbing that special happy hour hamburger at Emerald Cove that we've been promising ourselves are all on the agenda. It's also market day in La Paz so we may have to sneak off for that for a couple of hours. Had a great day with friends yesterday. Went into La Paz for a fish fry and then came back here to watch the speedboats on the River. We then went over to Emerald Cove but the quality of the karaoke volunteers was less than relaxing so we headed across the River and did a Casino run. It was such a beautiful night and we got to sit out again and watch the stars, satellites and airplanes lighting up the sky.

Sure hope this weekend's snow is the last of the season.

Love to all

I've never seen a jaw breaker so big!! My jaw hurts even seeing the picture of you trying to eat that thing!! I can finally open my jaw all the way to get a good yawn in but it still hurts abit. I've had my massage lady work on it twice now and she hurts way more than the physio lady who worked on my but maybe it has helped more and I get a massage as well.

Wow, Irene - your time down south sure has gone by quickly but I'm sure you have lots and lots of photos to remember your fun time away. Have a safe trip back home.

Weather here this morning is YUKY, YUKY, YUKY!!!! We've been trying to keep water off our sidewalk on the north side because of the thawing that has been happening and now this morning, we wake up to snow and they're predicting 20-30 cm. of the white stuff!! We're being very, very lazy this morning and not sure if we even feel like going out today.

Hope everyone is having a fun day - BIG HUGS TO ALL!!
